With endangered species in the greater Rocky Mountain National Park area, like the Boreal Toad, it’s vital that we do our part to protect aquatic ecosystems. By using our rental packages on one lake, we’ll be able to properly clean gear before it’s used elsewhere, preventing the spread of invasive species and wildlife diseases.

Yes, our packrafts are not permitted on Bear Lake, Mary’s Lake, Cub Lake, in areas with closures, on rivers, and in areas that we self-impose restrictions for sensitive species and vegetation. Before booking, please ask us about your desired destination - there are hundreds of lakes you can choose from in the area.

There are no refunds for any reason. All rentals are final.

Single packrafts have a 250lb weight limit. Tandem packrafts have 750lb and 1,000lb weight limits. We do not have life jackets for children under 50lbs and all participants must wear a life jacket.

First, select your rental date and time. Then, proceed to checkout. After checkout, every participant must sign our rental waiver. All rentals require a credit card on file. Then, you’re ready to paddle!

We do not require a rental deposit, but we do require a credit card on file for every rental. If you’re unable to use a credit card to purchase the rentals, we’ll be unable to issue the rental equipment. Our equipment must be returned in the same condition it was rented and will be pressure tested and inspected after every rental. You are liable for any damage and for payment of the full retail value of any damages or stolen equipment; this will be immediately charged to the credit card on file.

All rental equipment must be rented by a person 18 years of age or older. You must be ten years of age or older to use our single packrafts. Children under the age of ten are allowed to ride in our tandem packrafts with an adult that is 18 years of age or older. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

In motor vehicles and while hiking, all rented equipment must be safely secured and stored away from sharp objects. Our packrafts must always be transported in our provided travel bags. Never store outside of vehicle.
